Green Amethyst
Green amethyst, a variety of quartz, shares its Greek origin ‘amethystos’, meaning free from drunkenness.
In ancient Egypt, it was used in jewelry and carvings. In the Middle Ages, it was adopted by Christianity as a symbol of renunciation and chastity, still present in the rings of cardinals and bishops.
Green amethyst is the stone of spiritual growth, purifying the aura, transforming negative thoughts into positive ones, and generating harmony for a sense of peace.
